Yes, all Abouthy products were developed without animal ingredients and were not tested on animals. For a product to be vegan it must not
contain animal ingredients or animal by-products, such as honey, beeswax and lanolin. In addition, to be vegan, animals cannot be used for safety and efficacy testing.
Yes, we do not perform animal tests on any products. When the products are submitted for efficacy or safety tests, these are carried out on human volunteers, in independent Research Institutes and under ANVISA authorization.
Most of the products are dermatologically tested at the IPCLIN Clinical Research Institute. All Serums, Soap, Micellar Water and Anti-Aging Moisturizers are dermatologically tested.

Yes. All Abouthy products are duly registered at ANVISA, being notified as grade 1 or grade 2, depending on the product category to which they belong.
First cleanse the skin with Micellar Soap or Micellar Water. Then, apply the chosen treatment Serum customized to your needs. Wait for the Serum to be completely absorbed by the skin. Finish with a Day (preferably with SPF) or Night Moisturizer of your choice. To maximize the results, exfoliate your skin 1 to 2 times a week with Abouthy Facial Exfoliating Soap (when using it, it replaces the cleansing step with Micellar Soap or Water).
The product formulations were developed with safe ingredients for use and following the concentrations allowed by ANVISA. However, some ingredients with Retinol are not indicated. Therefore, we suggest that you always consult your doctor to know if you can use our products.

Yes, all 5 Facial Serums have clinical tests that prove that after 30 days of using the products, high levels of effectiveness were observed, both by the volunteers who used these products and in the evaluation of the dermatologist. These studies were conducted in an independent laboratory, the IPCLIN Clinical Research Institute.

The products can be used together to form combinations for a customized treatment routine. Only products containing glycolic acid (Renewal Serum) and mandelic acid (Lightening Serum) cannot be combined. In the case of these 2 Serums, choose one of them according to your needs and use it for a treatment period.
Abouthy uses ingredients from reputable and reliable suppliers, coming from manufacturers in Brazil and countries of the European Union, Asia and North America. They are the same suppliers of well-known brands.
For the Serums, there are some points of care during their use. Those serums containing glycolic acid (Renewing Serum) and mandelic acid (Whitening Serum) should only be used at night and during the day the skin should be protected with an SPF of at least 30. The Retinol Anti-Wrinkle Serum, on the other hand, can be used both during the day and at night, but should also be accompanied by the use of an SPF 30 or higher during the day. We recommend checking the label for each of the products.
